Privacy policy
Last updated July 22, 2026
This policy explains what Pine collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal padding.
Information you give us
The only information we ask for is what you enter in a form. Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, job title, and whatever you write in the message field. The Build & Price configurator also records the Spaces and options you select so we can prepare an accurate estimate, and the investor form records the interest areas, timeline, and other answers you choose.
You are never required to give us information to browse this site.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page or form is requested. That can include your IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, and the referring page. This is used to serve the site, keep it available, and protect it from abuse such as automated spam.
Cookies and tracking
We set our own first-party cookies, and we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not run advertising, and we do not sell your activity to anyone.
Our own cookies:
- pine_vid gives your browser an anonymous id so we can count visits and see which pages help. It holds a random value only, never your name.
- pine_known and pine_eid appear only after you save an estimate or open an estimate link. They let the site recognize you on a later visit and show your saved estimate. You can clear them anytime with the "Not you?" link shown next to your name.
- pv is set on a shared estimate page so we can tell how many times that estimate was opened.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and where visitors arrive from. Google sets its own cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_<id>) and processes that data under its own privacy policy. We use it only to understand and improve the site.
If you save an estimate, we connect the pages you viewed anonymously before that to your record, so a Pine representative has useful context. We store the page path and the referring site's domain only, never full web addresses.
We honor Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends that signal we set no tracking cookie and record nothing, and we do not record automated traffic such as bots and crawlers. Anonymous activity is deleted after 90 days, and single-page visits sooner. A form may keep a copy of your own entry in your browser as a convenience; it never leaves your device except in the submission you choose to send.
How we use your information
We use what you send to respond to you, prepare estimates or proposals you asked for, continue a conversation you started, and keep ordinary business records of our correspondence. We also use it to improve our products and how we explain them.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make this site and our correspondence work, such as our website host and security provider, and our email and business software. They handle it on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Automated spam protection
Our forms use automated checks to tell real people from bots. These checks look at things like how a form was filled in and may use a bot-detection service provided by our security provider. They are used only to block automated abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond, to carry out any resulting business relationship, and to maintain reasonable records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Reach us through our contact page and we will handle the request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
